WorkRite, one of Britain’s leading providers of health and safety assessments, e-learning and training solutions, is going global.
WorkRite Sales Manager Ryan Church explained: “Global WorkRite is being formed largely in response to requests from multinational clients to extend the Assessment services we deliver to them in the UK to their operations overseas.
“We have established a worldwide network of agents – people who are qualified ergonomists, physiotherapists or have a thorough understanding of human physiology – who will not only provide a local presence for those clients but also be able to carry out workplace assessments and training for locally-based businesses.”
The company, a division of the UK’s biggest ergonomics business Posturite, is setting up centres in major cities across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and North America, to deliver its services to multinational corporations with offices in several different countries as well as locally-based operations.
WorkRite’s e-learning courses, renowned for their creativity, ease of use and high amount of interactivity, are already used by many of Britain’s blue-chip organisations including Grant Thornton, Kimberley-Clark, Diageo, Kellogg’s, Dupont, QBE, Sage, esure and Capita. They offer a convenient and cost-effective solution to a company’s needs to fulfil its legal obligation to its staff by ensuring they are properly trained in subjects such as DSE usage, manual handling, stress management and fire safety.
Only recently WorkRite won a major contract to supply its market-leading AssessRite DSE training and assessment package to a multinational energy company to be rolled out to more than 12,500 users in 24 different countries.
To meet the requirements of this order, WorkRite had to translate the software into a number of additional languages including Arabic, Hindi and Gujarati.
Each of WorkRite’s standard programs can be adapted to meet companies’ individual needs, including translation into many different languages. And all WorkRite courses are supported by the company’s unique online management system which captures essential information for the client’s health and safety team and provides a fully-auditable trail of actions required or taken.
