Computer workstations or equipment can be associated with neck, shoulder, back or arm pains, fatigue and eyestrain. The Health & Safety Executive (HSE) is responsible for overseeing the Display Screen Equipment (DSE) regulations.
Posturite has experts all over the UK that can assess your employees’ workstations, advise on appropriate ergonomic products and set up equipment at workstations so that your organisation is DSE-compliant.
At Posturite we believe in practising what we preach. So, having long understood that there is a close correlation between a happy, comfortable working environment and high productivity, we make sure that all our employees are trained in workstation self-assessment and provided with high-quality, properly set-up ergonomic equipment so that they can work in comfort for long periods.
We believe your staff deserve the same... and you should too, because their performance and productivity will thrive in better working conditions.
Even for office staff, work-related injuries are common place. The Work Foundation estimates that musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) cost the UK economy £7 billion a year
Together with arm and wrist-related problems such as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) and Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI), stress and fatigue; staff absenteeism is a real problem today.
Having the right ergonomic equipment and workstation set-up will greatly reduce these risks and enable your workforce to achieve greater long-term productivity.
Your staff are important
It is your duty of care as an employer to treat your staff as people under your service.
This means making sure they are comfortable and as stress-free at work as possible, reducing the risk of injury and illness by providing them with the right equipment to do their job, and giving them regular breaks to exercise or rest.
Your staff’s lives continue when they move on from you and workstation-related injuries can impact their lives and those of their families for years.
Give your staff the respect they deserve with the right workstation set-up.
