The law draws very little distinction between a company’s home or mobile workers and those who are based in an office. Employers have an equal duty of care to both. If you employ home workers, your duty of care obligations may be different from those of an employer who has office based workforce. Home workers can feel isolated and may face entirely different challenges from those of office based staff.
