Overview

This session is aimed at anyone within an organisation who is responsible for carrying out risk assessments. We will explore the statutory legal requirements you must meet and the process of risk assessment and control. Risk assessments might indeed be statutory but they are a relatively easy requirement to fulfil, however many still struggle to understand and get the basics right.

Biography

James is Posturite’s specialist Health & Safety professional working across the south of England. With 9+ years of hands on experience, working in both public and private sectors, he holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Occupational Health, Safety and Wellbeing along with a NEBOSH General Certificate. James has completed two Institute of Fire Engineers (IFE) accredited courses; Fire Safety, Fire Risk Assessment and Emergency Planning – Part 1 and Fire Training, Fire Management and Fire Engineering Solutions in the Workplace – Part 2. This has enabled him to apply for Technician status with the IFE. James is currently a Technical member of IOSH and an associate member of IIRSM.
