Accident Management System (AMS)

Friday 15 July 2016

Ellie Hale

Join us on our latest webinar as we take you through our online ‘Accident Management System’ (AMS).

We will show you the ease with which you can integrate AMS into your workplace to manage your accident and incident reporting across multiple sites, including a structured and reportable method of investigation and action planning.

Our AMS system provides an intuitive and descriptive interface for end-users and administrators to ensure thorough recording and investigation of incidents using various automatic triggers and chaser notifications for outstanding actions.

We will also talk you through how some of our clients have worked with us to tailor the program to match their very different and unique requirements.

Ellie Hale started at Posturite in 2014 and has quickly established herself as a key member of the WorkRite team.

Prior to joining Posturite, Ellie worked in business development in Sydney, Australia for five years. Her degree is in law which has given her a solid understanding of the legal obligations employers have to their staff with regards to health and safety training to remain compliant. Ellie’s role is to travel to potential clients to demonstrate the WorkRite system and show how it can streamline their processes and procedures.

Q: For the status, is there not an option to choose all? This is when you run a report.

A: This is not a standard report as AMS is designed to report on all details regarding each question set. However, we have built this function for a customer on a bespoke basis, so we could replicate this feature for your live tool at a minimal additional fee.

Q: Can you attach/link documents such as risk assessments to the reported incident?

A: Yes you can upload documents and photos to help build your investigation and report.

Q: At the moment we have separate systems for reporting accidents, near misses, asbestos incidents & breaches and verbal/threatening behaviour (we are a local authority), so not just Accidents & RIDDOR. Could this system do all this in a one-stop-shop?

A: Absolutely.

Q: Can you attach investigation reports and photos?

A: Yes (same as question 2).

Q: Does it link into the HSE's RIDDOR site?

A: Yes.

Q: Property damage and fires are also incidents or accidents. I presume these too are included in your system?

A: Yes it can be adapted in many ways – we have clients who use it to record security incidents.

Q: We have a stock of over 11,000 council houses where our tradesmen can have accidents. Is it easy to record location?

A: Yes absolutely – easy to record as it will be bespoke and could automatically notify the right person at each location – it would also make it simple to report by location also.
