A five-a-side football tournament organised by Colebrook Bosson Saunders, worldwide designers and manufacturers of ergonomic office furniture accessories, has been won by Posturite.

Our all-conquering London and Home Counties squad – Chris Hollely, Paul Lindsey, Anthony Burns, Jon White, Pete Barret, Matt O'Sullivan, Matt Jones and Matt Davies – went through the competition unbeaten, winning all four of their round-robin league games before spanking Day2 27-7 in the semi-finals and hosts CBS 16-7 in the final.

As well as beating Colebrook Bosson Saunders in the final, our players also saw off competition from furniture firms Tsunami Axis, Progressive and Bene in the earlier matches.

Matt O’Sullivan commented: “I think we took a few people by surprise. When we were invited to take part, I don’t think they realised that several of our people play football on a regular basis, some at a fairly senior level.

“I hope that our success won’t count against us being asked to take part again next year.”
