Our exciting new series of free-access webinars kicks off on Friday 18 October with a talk by WorkRite lead consultant Katharine Metters on Seating Options.
Katharine is one of the country’s leading authorities on workplace health and ergonomics. She is a Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists, a Chartered Member of the Institute of Safety & Health and holds a Masters Degree in Ergonomics. She also has vast experience having worked within a wide range of business sectors including health care, food, retail and utilities.
Her webinar begins at 12.30pm and, as well as discussing the huge range of seating options available, will also look at the sort of things people should consider when choosing or specifying seating – for example, having a cut-out on the seat pan of a chair to reduce the pressure on the coccyx for those who have issues in that area.
Future webinars will take place at lunchtime on the third Friday of every month and will, like this first one, last for around 20 minutes. They will cover all aspects of workplace ergonomics, health & safety, assessments, training and so on. The programme will feature a number of guest speakers as well as our own experts.

Reminder notices giving details of each forthcoming webinar – date, speaker, subject matter etc – will be sent out well in advance.
