New Slips, Trips & Falls e-learning course

slips-trips-falls_blog Slips, Trips and Falls is the 17th in our fast-expanding library of online courses

Slips, trips and falls are the most common cause of workplace injuries, accounting for more than one in three reported injury accidents (RIDDOR) and 1.5 million lost working days in 2013/14 (Labour Force Survey).

We all know that even in the best ordered circles, accidents will happen. But many incidents are eminently preventable.

Which is why we are now introducing an e-learning course dedicated to the subject.

Slips, Trips and Falls is the 17th in our fast-expanding library of online courses designed to help companies deliver essential health and safety training in a convenient, economical and fun way.

It identifies the main causes of same-level slips, trips and falls, advises on how they can be prevented and prescribes the necessary actions to be taken should an accident happen. The duties of both employer and employee are clearly explained.

Like all our courses, Slips, Trips and Falls features pages of stunning graphics and several interactive elements designed to help maintain attention, retain information and improve learning.

It is supported by WorkRite’s unique online management system which captures essential information for companies’ health and safety teams and provides them with a fully-auditable trail of actions required or taken.

Because the training is all done online, users can fit it in easily around their work schedules. Staff just need to log on, follow the step-by-step instructions, answer some randomly selected questions to show that they’ve understood what they’ve read…and their training is complete!

It really couldn’t be simpler which is why our e-learning courses are now used by more than half a million people in the UK and overseas.

The Slips, Trips and Falls course is due to go live later this month. For more information, speak to your local account manager or call us on 0345 345 0030.
