Our webinars are an outstanding success!

Our series of monthly free-access lunchtime webinars have been an outstanding success since we launched them at the back end of last year. Thank you to all of you who have attended so far!

The numbers of those taking part has grown month on month with each of the last two sessions – the one in April on ‘Understanding Dyslexia’ and May’s talk by Office Environments sales manager David Kirtley on ‘Why Ergonomics Matters When Choosing Office Furniture’ – attracting live audiences of well over 300.

Scores more people have chosen to catch up with the webinars later via the links on our website or on YouTube and we have sent out dozens of CPD certificates to those who have requested them.

Marketing manager Karen Pengelly said: “We have been very pleasantly surprised by the impressive response we have had to the webinars. More than 2,000 people have so far taken part live or watched the sessions later at their leisure.

“The feedback we have received has also been terrific. People obviously appreciate the fact that the sessions are relatively brief – each one lasts no more than 30 minutes including time for Q&As – but are packed full of useful information delivered by leading experts in their field.”

The webinars usually take place on the final Friday of the month and cover a wide range of office health-related subjects. Topics coming up over the coming months include a talk by former HSE specialist inspector on ergonomics and human factors Sarah Tapley on ‘When the Inspector Calls’ and ‘Obesity from the Employers’ Perspective’ led by AXA PPP’s senior health & safety consultant Graham Baldwin.
