Posturite achieves Cyber Essentials certification

Cyber crime is the number one biggest threat to businesses today.

By 2021, the cost of cyber crime globally is expected to reach £4.5 trillion through problems such as stolen money, theft of IP, embezzlement, fraud and the cost of restoring hacked systems.

We maintain a very high level of security against cyber attacks at Posturite with numerous defences in place across our IT systems. To reassure clients that we take cyber security seriously, we recently achieved the government-backed Cyber Essentials accreditation.

This certification shows that we can prevent most common attacks under five technical controls:

  • firewalls
  • secure configuration
  • user access control
  • malware protection
  • patch management.

Posturite meets and exceeds all of Cyber Essentials' requirements. Commenting on the new accolade, Technical Director Chris Jones said: "The Cyber Essentials certification further demonstrates our continued investment in the company's IT security strategy, and it complements our existing ISO27001 accreditation nicely."
