Posturite's catalogue announces the launch of two new divisions

The UK’s leading supplier of ergonomic solutions for the workplace, Posturite (UK) Ltd, has used the publication of its 2007 catalogue to announce the formation of two new divisions.

Posturite Office Environments heralds the company’s formal expansion into the general office furnishings market. It offers a full range of creative, cost-effective full interior solutions designed to help organisations make the most of their space – and their budgets – whether they are fitting out a single office or an entire building. The turnkey service includes full project management, interior design, space planning, partitioning, lighting, floor coverings and mechanical and electrical works. All clients are allocated a dedicated project manager to oversee the contract from start to finish.

WorkRite, the new health and safety compliance division, brings together the best of Posturite’s e-learning and consulting packages into a comprehensive managed service for those companies that don’t have the knowledge or resources to meet the growing demands of health and safety legislation and training. Directors are able to concentrate on running their businesses while WorkRite experts take care of making sure their health and safety procedures, policies, documentation, risk assessments and training meet current requirements.

The multi-level WorkRite service also allows organisations to tailor-make their own programmes by choosing from a comprehensive menu of health and safety management and training solutions.

Posturite MD Ian Fletcher-Price said: “The launch of these two new divisions reflects our determination to use our extensive knowledge and expertise to provide organisations with an all-round service that helps them to make the most of their office space, protect their employees, improve their productivity and ensure that they don’t fall foul of ever-changing health and safety legislation and training requirements.”

Posturite has grown to become the UK’s market leader in the design, manufacture and supply of posture-improving products for the workplace having started out in 1991 with a single product – a sloping writing board – which Ian Fletcher-Price helped design to overcome a neck problem incurred while working in the City.

Its products are to be found in thousands of offices up and down the country. Scores of Britain’s blue chip companies and the vast majority of local authorities and police forces have turned to Posturite to provide them with the expertise and equipment to help them protect their employees against back problems and work related upper limb disorders.

This year’s catalogue is Posturite’s biggest yet, with scores of innovative products – chairs, desks and workstation accessories – designed to provide Britain’s office and home workers with a healthier and more comfortable environment.
