Moving on

As the 26th year of Posturite comes to a close we can reflect on another year of growth despite events beyond our control, namely Brexit and the US elections, which have affected the UK economy as a whole. Posturite, like many businesses, has seen significant increased costs of manufacturing due to the weaker pound and price rises from virtually all suppliers.

As a business, we continue to invest for growth to ensure we provide the best possible service to our clients and bring the most innovative products to market.

Exciting product launches

I’m most excited by the granting of two new patents and the anticipated launch in 2017 of three new products to complement our range. Innovation remains a core strategy and I think the latest range of new products will be our best yet.

Improved customer service and systems

In the latter part of 2016, we have invested heavily in our customer service. We have recruited more field-based staff to support the growing demand for our assessment and ergonomic product provision offering, there have been significant changes in our IT infrastructure and logistics to set us up for the next three to five years of growth and we have increased the size of our internal customer service team. All of the changes will have a positive impact on all our clients in 2017 and beyond.

Broadening our sights

The trend in the market is moving towards the streamlining of suppliers and we are perfectly placed to offer additional services in addition to our core business of ergonomic services and products through our other divisions, WorkRite e-learning and software, enablement, Office Environments, training, consultancy and emergency products.

The opportunities that come with Brexit are increased opportunity for export and we are currently expanding our network of partners globally to distribute our increasing range of unique products into new markets. A major market is the US, where sales have more than doubled in the last 12 months.

Ongoing staff loyalty

At the heart of Posturite lies our people and I’m proud to say in 2016, we had another 10 senior members of staff mark their 10 year anniversary with us.

Website revamp

Our marketing team have been working hard to make visual and usability improvements to both our online shop and our blog. Changes will be implemented throughout 2017 to improve your buying experience and ensure you have direct access to all the high quality guidance and information we produce.

And last but not least...

I’d like to thank all our customers for their continued loyalty and support and we look forward to working with you in 2017!
