Need an extra-large office chair? Wonder if you’re too short for a standard office chair? Find out what’s available in the infographic below. We'll help you find the right fit for kit at work.
What is a bariatric office chair?
A bariatric office chair is larger and sturdier than a standard office chair. It’s needed and likely to be more comfortable if your weight is over 23.6 stone (150 kg). Good bariatric chairs sometimes have contouring on the seat for extra comfort for larger legs.
Which office chairs are right for me if I’m petite?
A standard but highly adjustable ergonomic office chair might be fine for you if you’re short in height, once adjusted. If your height is less than 5ft 1 (155 cm), it’s likely that you’ll need a specialist office chair designed for smaller people and with adaptations you can choose from.
