Reasons to Buy

People with conditions like dyslexia and dyspraxia don’t need to be disadvantaged in the workplace. With the right tools — tools that suit them and their way of working, they’ll be able to overcome barriers and work with greater speed, accuracy and confidence.

Before you go ahead and spend lots of money on general solutions, we recommend booking a cognitive diagnostic assessment with a psychologist who specialises in adult dyslexia or dyscalculia. By assessing individuals face-to-face, they’re able to identify issues and base recommendations on the nature of their dyslexia and the specific roles they carry out.

The result? A personalised report that suggests the most effective course of action for that employee. Not only will you save money by avoiding unsuitable solutions that end up falling flat, but your employees will feel valued, listened to and supported.

What is a Cognitive Diagnostic Assessment?

A Cognitive Diagnostic Assessment is an in-depth one-to-one session carried out by a fully qualified and registered psychologist specialising in adult neurodiversity where a diagnosis is required.

This is any neurodiverse condition that is covered in the Equality Act 2010. This means that employers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to overcome any barriers faced by the individual as a result. The Cognitive Diagnostic Assessment forms part of your obligations.

Following the Cognitive Diagnostic Assessment, a full written report will be issued. It will help you, the employer, identify strengths and weaknesses and provide you with a clear set of recommendations for any adjustments that might need to be made.

Who is a Cognitive Diagnostic Assessment for?

Anybody who has, or thinks they may have a neurodiverse condition, and is experiencing challenges in the workplace as a result.

Between 30-40% of the UK population are thought to be neurodiverse.

What happens after I book a Cognitive Diagnostic Assessment?

Once you’ve filled in the form and booked a Cognitive Diagnostic Assessment, we’ll send you an email to confirm a suitable date and time.
