Suitable for an individual who has reported issues or concerns with their workstation which may be linked to musculoskeletal discomfort or has completed a DSE assessment which has highlighted areas of concern.

Undertaken by Posturite employees trained in undertaking DSE assessment. A referral form will need to be completed prior to the consultation, including providing some photographic representation of the individual at their workstation.

What is a DSE Telephone Consultation?

Get to the root of work-related pain with our DSE Telephone Consultation. This is a one-to-one session designed to identify and help eliminate problems related to DSE activities. By ‘problems’, we mean anything that could be aggravating, contributing or even causing an employee to have discomfort whilst working with DSE.

With this assessment we aim to review and improve the workstation set-up to help alleviate musculoskeletal discomfort and, as a result, improve the wellbeing and productivity of your employees.

Who is the DSE Telephone Consultation for?

The DSE Telephone Consultation is for people who are experiencing discomfort or pain at their DSE workstations and need advice and recommendations. Usually this assessment is undertaken following a DSE compliant assessment has failed to resolve any issues reported.

What happens in a DSE Telephone Consultation?

The assessment will be carried out by a member of our assessment team. All of our assessors are trained DSE assessors with extensive product knowledge. They know their stuff and they’re always happy to share their expertise with your employees.

Following the assessment, a form will be submitted which will address the reason for the assessment, highlight any relevant areas of concern, and provide recommendations.

What happens after I book a DSE Telephone Consultation?

After your assessment booking has been placed, a member of our appointments team with be in touch to confirm a suitable assessment date.


Once the appointment time is agreed there is a £50.00 Ex VAT cancellation fee if you request to reschedule or cancel your appointment with less than one working days' notice of the agreed appointment date.

Cancellations must be made in writing and received by the due date.

Unforeseen Circumstances

On rare occasions, unforeseen circumstances may require us to cancel an assessment. In such circumstances you will be given as much notice as possible and provided with new assessment date options.


Refunds are provided entirely at the discretion of Posturite. This does not affect your statutory rights.


A telephone consultation is not a DSE compliant assessment and is aimed at resolving basic workstation set up or musculoskeletal issues. It is not suitable for bespoke or higher level seating recommendations.

Recommendations made using the measurements supplied on the referral form are provided in good faith but errors made due to incorrect measurements are at the requestors risk.
