Q: How do I get the Penclic Number Pad to work with my computer?
Simply connect the Penclic Number Pad to the USB port. The driver installation starts automatically.
Q: What should I do if the Num Lock LED on my keyboard flashes when I use the Penclic Number Pad?
Num Lock is a setting in the operating system, the Number Pad or keyboard itself only sends a command that says for example 'key 24 row 3'.
In the unlikely event that Num Lock would not turn off automatically, you can turn it off yourself. If you use a Penclic keyboard the keyboard combination for Num Lock is 'Fn + F11'.
Q: Why is Num Lock activated when I start up my computer?
The Num Lock being activated at start-up is a setting in the computers BIOS. If you are unsure about what the BIOS is and how it is changed, ask your local computer guru to help you.
Q: What should I do if I only get several 0’s or |’s when connecting the Number Pad?
This only happens the first time the Number Pad is connected to a USB port and a button is pressed before the driver is installed. Unplug it and try again. Please wait until the computer has installed the software completely, it can take a couple of seconds.
Q: What should I do if the numbers don't appear on screen when I use the Number Pad N2?
Make sure the Penclic Number Pad N2 USB connector is firmly attached to the computer’s USB port.
Try connecting it to another computer, as it could be an issue with the computer. If this doesn’t resolve the issue, the Number Pad N2 could be defective. Please contact our customer services team on +44 (0) 345 345 0010.
