It is also a better option for taller people who have more back to support.
The 340 benefits from HÅG’s special rocking mechanism designed to move with the user to stimulate oxygen and blood-flow through the body. This backwards and forwards rocking motion is thought to keep sitters more alert and energised - making it a popular option in schools, colleges and Universities.
The partially upholstered design is contemporary and attractive, and the comfortable padded upholstery can easily be removed if you need a wipe-clean surface. Adjustments are easy to make to ensure the chair is fully supporting the user to help prevent back and shoulder pain.

Q: My gas stem seems a little stiff – is this normal?
Sometimes, over time, the gas stem can become a little stiff when trying to adjust the height. A quick and easy fix for this is using WD-40 or Vaseline. Apply a light layer of grease to the gas stem, then try adjusting the gas stem 3-4 times. The gas stem should now adjust easily.
Q: Can my seat slide forward?
The seat depth and back height are adjusted simultaneously in one grip. There is a tab on the left hand side of your H03 340. Pull this up and then adjust the two grips on each side of the chair to adjust both the back height and seat depth. Once you are comfortable, push the tab downwards to lock.
Q: My HÅG H03 340 medium back chair didn’t come with a neckrest – can I order one to add on myself?
Unfortunately, you cannot fit a neckrest to the H03 340.
Q: How do I adjust the back angle of my HÃ…G H03 340 medium back chair?
Unfortunately, you cannot adjust the back height of your H03 340, as it is in a fixed position.
Q: How do I stop the rocking motion of my HÃ…G H03 340 medium back chair?
The tilt motion can be locked. Turn your H03 340 on its side to find the Allen key tucked away underneath. Use this on the slot above the gas stem, turning clockwise to lock the tilt motion.
There is an adjustment wheel on the right hand side of the H03 340. Turn this clockwise to add tension and anticlockwise to reduce the tension.
Q: We have hot-desking and I want to adjust the backrest height – how do I do this?
The back height and seat depth are adjusted simultaneously in one grip. There is a tab on the left hand side of your H03 340. Pull this up and then adjust the two grips on each side of the chair to adjust both the back height and seat depth. Once you are comfortable, push the tab downwards to lock.
Q: How do I adjust the arms on my HÃ…G H03 340?
There is an adjustment wheel on the side of the arm. Turn this to unlock the armrest. Slide the arm up/down until you are comfortable. Once in the desired position, lock by turning the wheel.
