Overview
Join our informal DSE workshop, where you will be able to refresh your knowledge, brush up on the latest industry updates, discuss specific issues with our trainers, and have the opportunity to share ideas and experiences with your fellow delegates.
Expanding your knowledge will help you be better equipped to identify workstation-related issues and recommend ergonomic solutions that should reduce the risk of injuries, and help people feel more comfortable and productive at work.
Following completion of your training, you will have access to our dedicated DSE advice team who will be available to answer your questions about ergonomics, positioning and equipment, as well as generally supporting you on an ongoing basis with your DSE assessing.
Formally known as the DSE assessment post-foundation course, this workshop includes discussions on up-to-date working methods to accommodate the increase in hybrid working that organisations are experiencing.

The world of work is changing, and technology is enabling us to be free from traditional desk set-ups. It’s important that we find effective solutions based on individuals, their environments and how they want to work.
This workshop will be run as an open forum to discuss your experiences, as well as hear about the latest solutions available and gain some hand-on experience with products that can help. We will ask delegates to send in their learning objectives in advance of the session and tailor the content to suit the needs of the group.
We'll cover...
- Regulations relating to DSE, to refresh your memory
- Anatomy and working postures, and how they are affected by DSE
- Common conditions reported by DSE users
- Using a flexible, individualised approach to find solutions
- Reviewing workstations - you’ll get physically involved here
- Reviewing ergonomic equipment, giving you a chance to see and touch products, and discussing when to use and why
- Return to work scenarios
