Learn how to deliver workstation set-up advice to DSE users working remotely at home.
Max 6 people per course
Remote (virtual course)
As a result of the current pandemic, more staff are having to work from home with or without suitable display screen equipment. We train delegates to be able to identify common workstation issues and the health effects associated with them.
Having internal advisors as an early point of contact will assist staff members – not only in meeting health and safety requirements but also to achieve a suitable workstation set-up, keeping them comfortable, productive and injury-free while they work.
What to expect
The training is undertaken in a virtual classroom. Throughout the session, the trainer will discuss DSE regulations and procedures, common workstation issues and practical solutions, a standard DSE set-up, common health issues, home and agile working and possible workstation accessories.
Delegates will have the opportunity to participate in group discussions to gain knowledge and understanding in these areas.
PLEASE NOTE: This course does not enable attendees to undertake formal DSE assessments.
