This course is designed to be added onto the end of a full first aid course (emergency first aid at work, first aid annual refresher and basic life support and safe use of an AED).

This Anaphylaxis Bolt-On gives trainees the opportunity to learn how to respond specifically to anaphylactic shock, which is not covered in our Emergency First Aid and First Aid Refresher courses.

What to expect

This short course will be bolted onto the end of another first aid course. You’ll learn how to identify and respond to an anaphylaxis episode. You’ll have the opportunity to practice injecting with our training device.

  • Managing anaphylaxis and the use of adrenaline auto-injectors

All of our first aid courses are led by experienced Posturite trainers all holding a relevant teaching qualification such as PTLLS as well as a valid first aid at work qualification and other first aid related subject specialisms.
