Overview
Make sure you know what to do if someone suffers a severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) in the workplace with this half-day course. Not only will you earn a nationally-recognised Ofqual qualification, you’ll also gain the skills and confidence to respond appropriately and potentially save a life.

What to expect
This is a half-day course with an experienced, qualified first aid trainer. In addition to observing techniques, discussing scenarios and listening to the theory behind basic life support, you’ll get to try out techniques like such as recovery position and CPR for yourself. You’ll also explore the symptoms of anaphylactic shock so you’ll know how to identify and manage it, which may include administering an adrenaline auto-injector. You’ll have the opportunity to practice injecting with our training device.
Upon successful completion of the course, you’ll be qualified to receive a Basic life support and management of anaphylaxis QA Level 2 certificate.
