Overview
Over time and without regular practice, first aid skills can start to fade. The two-day First Aid at Work Requalification is designed to refresh memories and renew the skills and confidence of people who have previously taken the First Aid at Work qualification. It should be taken before their certificate expires (three years after it was awarded). To make sure they feel comfortable with the shortened course content, we ask that they show evidence of refreshing annually.
We ask that attendees show evidence that they’ve undertaken annual refresher training (even if they didn’t train with us), or AED training. If they can’t, we recommend they take the full three-day First Aid at Work course again. This is simply to make sure attendees always have the most up-to-date information and understanding of essential life support skills.
