Learn how to confidently train your colleagues in manual handling techniques with this 3-day train-the-trainer course — available to those who have already completed manual handling training.

You’ll gain the necessary knowledge and skills to be able to develop and deliver effective moving and handling training sessions at work. Gain confidence in presenting to others and receive feedback from the assessor to improve your skills.

Day one and two will run consecutively, containing both practical and theory sessions followed by assessed presentations on day three. Day three will take place approximately one week after days one and two. You’ll be required to give a 10-minute presentation on a topic of your choice on the afternoon of day one.

Once the training is complete, you’ll be able to demonstrate basic suitable manual handling techniques. You’ll understand the legal requirements, the risk factors associated with manual handling, and the basic anatomy of associated back and health issues.
