Wellbeing training

Create a healthy, supportive workplace with mental health training.

Why is mental health training at work important?

Why is mental health training at work important?

It can be difficult to talk about how we feel, especially at work. But problems don’t go away just because we're in work mode. Work can cause mental health issues like anxiety, stress and depression, and it can make existing conditions worse when the right support and understanding isn’t there.

According to mental health charity Mind, better mental health support in the workplace could save UK businesses up to £8 billion per year. As many as 12.7% of all sickness days are taken for mental health issues — and that’s just the cases that are reported. Fear of judgement and stigma leads many people to cite other reasons for absenteeism.

Our wellbeing and mental health training courses can help:

  • Reduce stigma
  • Open conversations
  • Educate staff about mental health
  • Give staff tools to identify when they’re not coping
  • Increase resilience
  • Encourage compassion and support
  • Make people feel more confident talking about mental health
  • Create a healthier, happier work culture
  • Make people feel valued
