Managers will learn how to undertake a work-focused mental health risk assessment and how to manage and support employees in work and returning to work.
Ideally this short course should be delivered soon after the Posturite-provided Understanding mental health in the workplace or the Mental health first aid at work course. However it can be provided separately as a stand-alone course if delegates have previously received mental health training via an alternative provider.
Delegates MUST have previous training in mental health awareness or mental health first aid.
We'll cover...
- Work-focused mental health risk assessments and possible controls to support individuals at work
- Developing a mental health return-to-work plan for an individual
- The boundaries and limits of a manager’s responsibility and when to seek further support
