This session is aimed at anyone within an organisation who is responsible for carrying out risk assessments. We will explore the statutory legal requirements you must meet and the process of risk assessment and control. Risk assessments might indeed be statutory but they are a relatively easy requirement to fulfil, however many still struggle to understand and get the basics right.
- What are the general requirements of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations and other relevant legislation?
- What does your organisation need to know and do?
- Principles and practices behind risk assessments
- What happens when it goes wrong?
