What we did
Hastings Direct wanted to keep its young workforce in the best health possible and create an attractive and smart working environment furnished with cutting-edge ergonomic chairs, especially in their newly-refurbished offices in Leicester.
Posturite supplied Hastings Direct with 1,500 H04 chairs over a 3-year time span - to include Bexhill, Eastbourne, Newmarket and the entire new Leicester office. Our team carried out workstation assessments for each individual to advise on positioning and to ensure that all chairs were adjusted according to each employee’s unique needs.

The balanced movement mechanism, flowing tilt function and simple back adjustments of the HÅG H04 ergonomic office chair made it an excellent choice of chair for this office working environment. An optimised tilt angle as well as soft but supportive cushioning in the seat and back provide a feeling of wellbeing.

It was a pleasure to be the Task Seating Consultant for Hastings Direct on this large-scale project. The photos show what a difference the new ergonomic chairs made to the office design, but it will be the long-term health and wellbeing benefits from ergonomic design that I expect to make the most difference to the people working here.
