Cognitive Diagnostic Assessment
The experienced specialist in adult neurodiversity carrying out this Cognitive Diagnostic Assessment will assess and diagnose whether an individual has a specific condition such as Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and/or Dyscalculia.
We will provide a full written report to you after the assessment. It will help you identify strengths and challenges and provide you with a pathway for support. You’ll receive a clear set of recommendations for any reasonable adjustments that might need to be made.
What is a Cognitive Diagnostic Assessment?
A Cognitive Diagnostic Assessment is an in-depth one-to-one session carried out by a fully qualified and registered psychologist specialising in adult neurodiversity where a diagnosis is required.
This is any neurodiverse condition that is covered in the Equality Act 2010. This means that employers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to overcome any barriers faced by the individual as a result. The Cognitive Diagnostic Assessment forms part of your obligations.
Following the Cognitive Diagnostic Assessment, a full written report will be issued. It will help you, the employer, identify strengths and weaknesses and provide you with a clear set of recommendations for any adjustments that might need to be made.
Who is a Cognitive Diagnostic Assessment for?
Anybody who has, or thinks they may have a neurodiverse condition, and is experiencing challenges in the workplace as a result.
Between 30-40% of the UK population are thought to be neurodiverse.
