How do I practice active sitting with ergonomic office furniture?
While good seating practice is crucial to maintaining a strong posture, one commonly overlooked aspect of ergonomics is a suitable office computer desk as a platform to conduct daily work. This is where the introduction of a comfortable office desk brings some real value. Different workers require different assistance, so it’s important to choose a desk that is tailored around your needs.
Office desks are a vital component of any functional business or home office. They offer the ability to organise working accessories to avoid confusion, and some even come equipped with innovative standing measures to allow us to move from sedentary positions while remaining productive.
When paired with an ergonomic chair, these office computer desks offer the perfect opportunity for achieving and maintaining a well-optimised posture for many years.
What types of office desks do you sell?
We stock a wide variety of office desks that are suitable for many different use cases. You can choose from sit-stand desks powered by electric motors to more cost-effective desks that are built for one height only.
If you’re looking for something a little more traditional, we also sell robust fixed height desks. Sometimes, it can be more problematic to buy a new desk as opposed to modifying your existing one. In which case, we also sell sit-stand platforms that can be placed on top of your desk to add a little more height.
When will my office desk arrive?
We aim to get orders fulfilled as quickly as possible; however, the best way to avoid delays is to check our estimated lead times on product pages.
Do you accept bulk orders?
Yes. We have worked with many businesses in the past to help them arrange complete office overhauls with new furniture. From helping you choose the right equipment to arranging delivery at a time to suit you, contact us to see how we can help.
What size desks do you have?
We sell computer desks and working surfaces to suit a variety of different locations of all shapes and sizes. Whether you’re looking for a compact sit-stand desk in your home office or are upgrading existing equipment with an adjustable platform, there’s an option to suit everyone.
What are the benefits of using ergonomic furniture in the workplace?
Ergonomic office furniture is an investment that pays off in numerous ways. Ergonomic office furniture and accessories, like sit-stand desks, ergonomic mice or ergonomic keyboards, are designed to improve posture and comfort while reducing work-related injuries, including back pain, neck strain, carpal tunnel syndrome, etc. This has a positive effect, not only on employees but also on a company level. Fewer injuries mean fewer workers' compensation claims, saving companies money on insurance. Providing ergonomic furniture also demonstrates a commitment to employee wellbeing, creating a positive and healthy work environment, which, in turn, helps attract top talent.
What depth of desk is needed for sit-stand platforms?
Most platforms require a minimum desk depth of 62 cm for stability.
What is the difference between the JOSHO, DeskRite 350, and DeskRite 550?
All three models use the same frame. However, the tops of the JOSHO are smaller (1200 x 700 mm) and only available in that one size, in black, white or grey. The DeskRite 350 and 550 have no structural differences since frame updates in 2023.
Which office desk furniture is easiest to assemble?
The Levado sit-stand desk is one of the easiest to build, as the legs just fold out, and you clamp on the desk top. No screws are needed for setup!
What are the smallest and largest office desks available?
What’s the best smaller standing desk for home use?
If you are looking for a more compact sit-stand desk, the best option is the KOJI Electric Sit-Stand Desk. Its measurements are 100 cm in width and 60 cm in depth. Alternatively, you can choose a sit-stand platform that can go on top of your desk or table, like the Opløft Sit-Stand Platform.
