Overview

The Bribery Act affects every UK business and organisation. The consequences of non-compliance can be substantial for both employers and employees, including long prison sentences and heavy fines. Bribery can take many forms such as gifts, excessive hospitality, charitable donations and facilitation payments.

It’s vital that companies should have procedures in place for reporting suspected bribery and corruption, and that proper training is given to make sure employees are fully aware of the Act and what it means for them and the business if they don’t comply with it. Which is why we have created our Anti-Bribery Awareness e-learning course, the 19th subject in our rapidly expanding e-learning library.

The course is designed to increase awareness of the legalities of the Bribery Act 2010, how to recognise what is legal in business, and what constitutes an illegal activity.

All our courses can be adapted to meet companies’ individual needs. They are supported by our widely praised, unique online management system, which captures essential information for the health and safety team and provides a fully auditable trail of actions taken or required.
