What is a mini keyboard?
Mini or compact keyboards are designed to be space-saving and travel friendly. They are often significantly lighter and thinner than their full-sized counterparts, and may feature wireless or Bluetooth connectivity too.
What are the benefits of a mini keyboard?
We have long considered the standard-sized computer keyboard to be flawed in design as the number pad causes the user to stretch unnaturally with their mouse hand. Compact keyboards allow the user to position the mouse closer to the body. This helps reduce wrist and shoulder ache, and risk of long term injury such as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.
The other obvious benefit is portability. As they are so lightweight and slim they can easily be fitted into a bag with a laptop and then used with a mouse and laptop stand as part of an ergonomic mobile workstation.
