We're excited to tell you that entries are now OPEN for Pedal for Stroke, our unmissable charity cycle ride in aid of the Stroke Association.
A fun day with you to raise £15,000 to help people find strength through support after stroke.
Where and when
- Thursday 12 June 2025
- Exciting start destination! Herne Hill Velodrome, 104 Burbage Road, London SE24 9HE
- Please arrive by 9.30am
- Please bring your own bike suitable for road cycling
- Set off at 10.00am with laps of the iconic Velodrome where Bradley Wiggins began his career
- Cycle in small groups at different speeds for 100km (62 miles)
- Lunch break at South of England Showground in Sussex
- Cheering crowds will celebrate your finish mid-afternoon at Posturite, Station Road, Berwick, East Sussex BN26 6SZ, directly next to Berwick (Sussex) railway station
- Stay for drinks and hot food as we celebrate a great day with you

FAQs
Do I need to be an experienced cyclist?
The ride will be 100km (62 miles) so we recommend being comfortable with this distance. However, all are very welcome! We will have different groups who would like to cycle at different speeds.
Will there be a minimum sponsorship requirement?
No, but please give as generously as you can to an important cause.
How do I get to Herne Hill Velodrome?
It's near to North Dulwich, Herne Hill or Tulse Hill overground stations in London SE24 9HE. A limited number of car parking spaces should be available.
Where will the after-party be?
Outdoors at Posturite's HQ in Berwick, East Sussex BN26 6SZ. Indoors here if weather misbehaves!
Is this the first Pedal for Stroke?
No, we're proud to say this is the third! But it's bigger and better this year with more cyclists and more money raised. Pedal for Stroke 2024 raised £17,280 of the total £43,000 raised and donated to the Stroke Association by Posturite last year.
Can I invite a colleague or friend?
Yes of course! All are welcome.
Who will be taking part?
A friendly group of fundraisers led by Posturite's MD Chris Jones, all committed to helping people find strength through support after stroke. We'll be a mix of clients, partners and staff.

They provide tailored support to tens of thousands of stroke survivors each year, fund vital scientific research, and campaign to secure the best care and support for everyone affected by stroke.
