What is a Virtual DSE Workstation Assessment?

Workstation Assessment. This is a one-to-one session delivered over video chat, designed to identify, and help eliminate problems related to DSE activities. By 'problems', we mean anything that could be aggravating, contributing, or even causing an employee to have discomfort whilst working with DSE.

With this assessment we aim to review and improve the workstation set-up to help alleviate musculoskeletal discomfort and, as a result, improve the wellbeing and productivity of your employees.

Who is the Virtual DSE Workstation Assessment for?

The Virtual DSE Workstation Assessment is for people who are experiencing discomfort or pain at their DSE workstations and need advice and recommendations.

What happens in a Virtual DSE Workstation Assessment?

The assessment will be carried out over video call by a member of our assessment team. All our assessors are trained in DSE with extensive product knowledge. They know their stuff and they’re always happy to share their expertise with your employees.

Following the assessment, a report will be submitted which will address the reason for the assessment, highlight any relevant areas of concern, and provide recommendations.

What happens after my Virtual DSE Workstation Assessment referral is submitted?

After your assessment referral has been received, you will either receive a Self-Serve booking email or be contacted by a member of our appointments team to confirm a suitable assessment date.

Do I need to appear on webcam?

It is preferable. There is the option of chatting over video call without activating your webcam. However, being able to see one another allows for a more personable experience and can improve the quality of the assessment.

Do I need to download any additional software to join the virtual appointment?

No, you will receive an email with a link 24 hours prior to the call and the morning of the assessment. This will allow you to join the meeting easily through a web browser without downloading any software.

Can I join by telephone?

Virtual meetings are best when you join them from the Posturite video link. If you're unable to use the Posturite link, you can contact your Assessor and they can use alternative means to speak with you.
