All electronic components of the Seal Shield are sealed in a water tight housing making the keyboard 100% waterproof, it can be submersed in water or even washed in a dishwasher. All keys are laser etched to ensure that they are not damaged by frequent washing, the USB connector is protected from rust or corrosion by its construction – it is made of 24c gold – and the Seal Cap which prevents water intrusion. This keyboard can be sprayed with detergents whilst connected to the computer or reconnected to the computer using the Quick Connect cable feature
